What Is School Based ABA Therapy?
School based ABA therapy means a trained behavior technician works with your child during the school day, inside their actual classroom and school environment. Rather than pulling your child out for a separate session somewhere else, support happens in real time, during circle time, group work, transitions between classes, lunch, and recess. These are the moments where social and behavioral skills are most needed and most naturally practiced.
Applied Behavior Analysis is the most extensively researched intervention available for children with autism, and bringing it into the school setting closes a gap that many families feel deeply. A child might do beautifully in a one on one therapy session but struggle to bring those same skills into a noisy classroom with twenty other kids. School based therapy bridges exactly that gap.
