How Aviation ABA Took Flight

Aviation ABA was born from a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves a clear path forward and a caring team that believes in their potential. After years of working in the ABA field, we saw how life-changing the right support could be, especially when it’s individualized, consistent, and built on genuine connection.

We chose the name Aviation ABA because we see each child as the pilot of their own journey. A child’s journey is like preparing for takeoff: it starts with trust, careful planning, and a crew that’s committed to getting them where they want to go. Like any flight, there may be turbulence along the way, but with the right support crew, thoughtful planning, and steady guidance, progress is always possible.

Our team is here to help your child build the skills, confidence, and resilience they need to soar, one step, one strategy, and one milestone at a time. Whether it’s a first word, a new routine, or a breakthrough moment, we celebrate every win and walk alongside your family through every challenge.

This isn’t just therapy. It’s partnership, progress, and personalized care, with heart at the center of it all.

Every great journey starts with trust. Let’s take the next step together.

Reuven Roberts

Founder

CEO

Reuven founded Aviation ABA to help children with autism and their families feel truly supported, understood, and cared for. To him, great ABA is about more than therapy, it’s about connection, trust, and building strong relationships with the whole family.

His journey began as a teen, shadowing a student with severe behavioral needs and volunteering at a nonprofit for kids with behavior challenges. That early spark grew into a lasting commitment.

Before launching Aviation ABA, Reuven helped grow other ABA organizations by supporting both clinical and administrative teams, drawing on his background in recruiting and business operations. For the past three years, he’s been leading his own practice, focused on care, consistency, and building a culture where people feel appreciated like family.

As a dad, Reuven brings empathy and real-world understanding to every decision. He’s passionate about people and creating a space where both families and team members feel seen and valued.

Fun fact: He grew up in Minneapolis and loves fishing, water sports, and time on the lake.

Our Approach to ABA Therapy

At Aviation ABA, our approach is rooted in compassion, guided by evidence-based strategies, and tailored to each child’s unique flight path. We believe meaningful progress happens when therapy feels supportive, individualized, and connected to the people who matter most: their family.

What Makes Our Approach Unique

1:1 ABA Therapy

Every child’s journey is unique, and our one-on-one sessions are designed to meet them right where they are. With compassionate guidance and steady support, we help them build the skills and confidence they need to navigate life with independence.

Play-Based Learning

Learning takes off when it feels like play. We use games, pretend play, and imagination to build foundational skills in a way that feels natural, joyful, and engaging.

Home-Based ABA

We bring care to your home base. By working in your child’s everyday environment, we target real-life skills, from morning routines to sibling dynamics, right where life happens.

School Readiness

We gently prepare your child for takeoff into the classroom with the social, emotional, and learning skills they need to succeed. Think of it as their pre-flight checklist for school life.

Social Skills Development

Making connections can feel like uncharted territory. Through structured, play-based social learning, we help your child build confidence one step at a time, communicating, sharing, and making friends.

Community Involvement

The world is their runway. Whether it’s ordering at a restaurant or joining peers at the park, we support your child in real-world situations that build independence and ease.

Parent Training

You’re your child’s best copilot. We offer hands-on training and ongoing support so you feel confident guiding growth at home and beyond.

Family Engagement

Strong journeys are built with strong crews. From regular updates to monthly Family Days, we foster meaningful bonds between families, learners, and staff to create a connected, caring environment.
